Tomas Cafe is the premier breakfast and lunch venue in downtown Oxnard. Chef Tom combines his Cordon Bleu experience with his family's traditional recipes to add high-end twists to the classic breakfast dishes you love.
At Tomas Cafe, we're passionate about providing great food and a cozy atmosphere for all who enter our restaurant. We see our customers as an extension of our family and we want every person to feel as if they're being served a home cooked meal. We offer Mexican and American classics, from our famous Jesus's Chilaquiles to chicken fried steak. Try our rich Nutella french toast, cooked to golden perfection and topped with powdered sugar, Nutella, and golden walnuts!

History

Established in 2001.
Tomas cafe opened its doors in February of 2001. We wanted to create a community space that celebrates good food and drink. We started out as a coffee bar, and over the years we have continued to grow and expand our offerings to include breakfast and lunch. We thank you for your support!

Owner

Chef Tom is a Cordon Bleu Chef and the proud owner of Tomas Cafe. Tom was born and raised in Oxnard and makes a point to be involved in the community. He serves on the board of the Downtown Oxnard management district and loves that Tomas Cafe has become a hub for local businesses to meet.

  This place was fantastic!! The owners wife waited on us and we had a wonderful experience. I visit the training camp and I'll visit this place every time I'm in town. Cinnamon roll was a fabulous treat. Fresh squeezed orange juice was brought to is. I had the Chilaquiles and chili verde con huevos. I just couldn't finish my breakfast. Don't miss trying this place.

  The staff are so nice and helpful. We had a last minute graduation party and they set up the private room beautifully. They were patient with everyone trickling in and taking a little too long to trickle out. Everyone loved the food. Great service.
